Did you know: The smallest bee in the world comes from Queensland, Cape York Peninsula to be exact, measuring in at no more than 2 mm long, around the size of the tip of your pen! Its name is the Quasihesma. Measuring up at 5 mm long, is the Queensland native stingless bee Trigona Carbonaria, they are busy pollinating around you everyday, but so small and hard to see unless you watch for them carefully.
